Capt Alderson,
You wanted to know about on-going activities, well, hopefully this picture will show you what is going on. This picture was taken last night around 8pm. My family heard a lot of activity and ran out and captured this picture. In addition, the hunters ran dogs against the coyotes the night before this as well.
They continue to chase the coyotes! I've tried and I've tried to be rational with FWC. I've tried to remain patient and be the voice of reason for our cause. But this is over the top! I will NOT stand by and allow these coyotes to be chased and mauled ILLEGALLY for the next 26+ days. You all had better do something about this!
It is extremely frustrating that you all KNOW that they are in violation, yet you REFUSE to do anything about it for the next 26+ days. Why don't you all come out and camp on our property and witness what is going on. Can't you see how exhausted the coyote is! He is literally laying on top of a hotwire fence. I zoomed in to highlight the flesh wound on the animal as well. Can't they just shoot them already? Why do they get to continue "playing" with the coyotes for the next 4 weeks!!! Ughhh!!!!
I obviously don't understand how FWC does business. Let's take a crack house as an example. Could you imagine if the sheriff's department followed the FWC guidelines? Here's the process that would take place:
1. Crack house is identified by neighbors
2. Sheriff's department is contacted by concerned neighbors
3. Sheriff's department calls crack house owner and tells them to stop (when they get the chance)
4. Two weeks later, sheriff's department is called again about crack house
5. Sheriff reluctantly comes out to neighbors house and witnesses drug dealings firsthand
6. Sheriff issues written warning to crack house owner to have them stop in the next 30 days
7. Neighbors have to continue to witness drug deals taking place for the next month
Don't you all see how ridiculus this sounds? I'll fill in the additional steps after we determine what FWC's next move is. Please call to discuss what we can do. If I don't hear from you in the next hour, I will be calling you.
Trying to remain sane ...
